Hello

 Just wanted to make you aware of something that has resurfaced over the last few days

 We’re seeing an email claiming to be from Facebook informing you that you need to reset your password

 The email has a zip file attached, which when ran installs a Trojan known as “Bredolab botnet”

This is a technique that has been used in the past. Previously the message had Facebook style graphics whereas this is purely text based, making it that bit easier to spot

You should NEVER need to run a program to change your password so if you receive this message please delete it immediately 

We’re seeing email anti-virus scanner doing a good job of picking it up (see below) but just wanted to raise some awareness

Please pass on this information to anyone you feel may benefit from it 

As always if you aren’t sure about anything that looks even vaguely suspicious please get in touch
